Let's gear up ...

My dear DHS guitarists,

Last saturday's attendance was quite poor, and it was quite disheartening too. We are only 3 weeks plus away from our concert, and as i can see, there is still a lot of fine-tuning to do. On teachers' part, we have managed to convince the school to let us practise for full day on saturdays. We will be able to use LT3 until 5pm on saturdays now. On your part, i really hope that you can attend the practices, because if we don't have full attendance, it's very difficult to fine tune the songs.

I'm sure we all want to present a good performance to the audience. However, merely wanting to do so is not going to make it come true. We have to work towards it.
It's just 3 more weeks away, and after the concert, i'll ensure that you guys have a well-deserved break.

As time is running out, we cannot waste anymore time during the practices. Therefore, please keep to the tight schedule, and not waste time during the practices. I realise that sometimes Kevin still had to wait for you guys to settle down, despite him calling out to you all a few times to get ready. However, there were a lot of dilly dallying. Kevin is a nice guy, so don't take advantage of his kindness and patience. Let's just be quick when settling down, so that we will not waste precious time.

Let's gear up for our very first concert. We are representing our school, not just yourself. I'm sure none of you hope that the comments from the audience turn out to be negative. The next few weeks are very crucial. Let's all get together and achieve a good performing standard.
